Events Committee

The events committee is a group of parent volunteeers who plan a calendar of social events enjoyed by the school community e.g. International Food Fair, Christmas Fair, Book Fair & our Summer Garden Party in June celebrating the end of the school year. These parents also help out with the Musical theatre productions, ensuring that there is a well stocked bar for refreshments. At Christmas they help to put up decorations around the school. We are very grateful for their generous support.

Open Classrooms

Once a month we invite families into their child’s classroom to see their work. Parents get the chance to speak with teachers informally at these monthly sessions. These sessions tend to be very well attended.

Open Forum

Twice a year we hold a round table meeting with families who are invited to set the agenda and discuss ideas with senior teachers and school leaders. This dialogue is highly valued and we take the views expressed into account in our development of the school.

Open Door Policy

Parents can always make an appointment to see a senior teacher if they want to discuss any aspect of their child’s education, welfare or development.
