Year 7 acted out one of the most famous and shocking murders in history: the murder of Thomas Becket!
After holding a court of law in which various suspects were accused of the murder by the prosecution, giving their motives, they discovered through drama, the details of the gory details of the crime through a reenactment of the scene as reported on the evening news.
Next, they will debate who was to blame for the murder: was it Henry II, Thomas Becket himself, or the 4 knights who did the dirty deed?
Finally, they will write an essay answering this question in a balanced argument, concluding with their final judgement supported by evidence.
