Hello everyone,

A great morning for our Mini-Marathon today!

The weather kept us on standby until the last minute-  but the sun came good in the end and we even managed a glorious beach-lounging session afterwards.

Well done to all who ran, scootered or pushed a buggy!

This week we will collect all sponsor money for recent events and invite a representative from La Mensa del Cor to come and collect it from the children in assembly.

Thank you very much for your support in all the sponsored events and for your generosity in supporting our chosen charity this year.

La Mensa now feeds 58 children a school meal every day:  when we joined the charity at Christmas they were only feeding 7 children. La Mensa has recently highlighted the work of The Olive Tree children in its blog and FaceBook page.

Swimming lessons at Espai Blau were very popular this week-  the adventure of going on the bus seemed to make them more exciting still.

Please remember your child’s swimming day (Monday for Upper School; Friday for Lower School) this week and until the end of term.

A huge thank you to B (Aliyah’s father) for making the gorgeous handmade benches and seats now in the grassy garden. It means a lot to us to have this kind of gift to enrich the children’s day.

Our growing project has been hugely successful- we now have a beautiful meadow, herb garden and flower & shrubs area in the Reception-year One garden. Do come in and see it.

The vegetable plot is also now established and growing well.

The Upper School meadow flowers by the main gate are just starting to come up!

Well done to all involved in this beautiful project.
