Feeding for Free

We run a pupil-inspired initiative in which the school lunch food left untouched, as provided by our caterers, Art de Cook, is boxed up daily by our lunch monitors in recyclable containers and shared with the community in need.

Some of the food goes to the Sant Camil Hospital food bank; some is delivered to the same friendly faces we have got to know on the streets around school.  About ten meals a day are shared: zero waste!

Thanks to those who came up with this idea, and to our staff who help with preparation and distribution of the food parcels.

Our pupils are thinking of ways to inspire others to follow suit.
