English & Enrichment Secondary Teacher

MATERNITY COVER – EARLY YEARS – October 2020 to February 2021

Are you a qualified Early Years or Key Stage one teacher?

Our early years teacher, Olivia, will be going on maternity leave during the month of October 2021.

The Olive Tree Secondary School requires a qualified and experienced Science teacher to teach 11- 16 year olds pupils the National Curriculum of England & Wales.
Chemistry, Biology and Physics.

21 teaching hours per week.

Full-time contract. The successful candidate will be expected to be at school from 8.45 to 16.00 Monday to Friday. Non-contact hours can be used for preparing classes, marking etc. in the staff designated working areas.

4,5 months duration, to cover maternity leave: 1st October – 15th March approximately.
Experience in lab tech work valued.

  • Additional responsibilities:
  • One meeting per week of 45 minutes with teaching team.
  • One parents’ Evening December (approx 5 hour’s work)
  • Marking pupils’ work on a daily basis
  • Two playground duty sessions per week

NABSS schools are fully authorised and recognised by Spanish education authorities as teaching the British National Curriculum. Schools are inspected regularly and then authorised.
