Family Newsletter Week 8

Dear families,

What a lot of beautiful work went into Year 3’s gorgeous light theatre puppets and retelling of fables with a moral. They told their tales to a delighted audience of families last Friday.

We would like to thank our Events Committee for organising a very successful second-hand uniform fundraiser last Friday.

We also thank Sophie Grasso for her inspiring talk in secondary on her work as a doctor in the emergency department of a hospital.  Her tales of surprising ailments and diagnoses had a captive audience in the secondary pupils.

Week 8’s busy schedule looks like this:

Year 11 Mock Examinations Week

Our hardworking GCSE class have their mock exams this week, in preparation for their public exams in the summer.

Good luck, Year 11!

We open our doors to all families, old and new, to see our learning in action. It is our excellent teaching that distinguishes us:  why not drop into our classrooms and see our children and young adults hard at work?
